FAQ
Q: What is the difference between MTM, Full Canvas, Half Canvas, and Fused construction?
A: MTM means we adjust a refined base block pattern to your client’s skin measurements, rather than drafting a brand-new bespoke pattern from scratch. Half canvas uses stitched canvas through the chest and lapel, with fused interlining on the lower front. Full canvas uses continuous horsehair canvas stitched across the entire jacket front, which moulds to the wearer over time. Fused construction uses heat-bonded interlining for entry-level options. We offer all three build options.
Q: Do you accept CMT orders where we supply our own fabric?
A: Yes, CMT service is available. We handle pattern drafting, cutting, sewing, finishing, and QC. Production lead time starts after your fabric arrives and passes inspection. We can supply canvas, lining, buttons, and trims if needed.
Q: What is your minimum order quantity for MTM garments?
A: No minimum order quantity. We accept single-unit orders. New clothier partners are encouraged to start with trial garments to validate fit, construction, and workflow before formal bulk collaboration.
Q: What is your trial order process for new clothier partners?
A: You select fabrics from our digital swatch library first. We produce trial garments using real client measurements. Once you confirm satisfaction with fit, quality, and communication, you may order physical swatch books and open ongoing ordering.
Q: What premium wool fabrics do you keep in stock?
A: We maintain thousands of in-stock fabric options, including mills such as Zegna, VBC, Reda, Drago, Solbiati, Canclini and E.Thomas. We carry Super 100s to Super 150s wool suiting in standard weights ranging from 240g to 290g.
Q: What is your standard production lead time?
A: Standard production turnaround is 10 business days once measurements, style sheet, and fabric are confirmed. This does not include international shipping transit time, customs clearance, or fabric inbound time for CMT orders.
Q: What is your quality control process?
A: Every garment passes six in-line QC checks during production plus two final inspections before packing. We verify measurements, fabric matching, stitching, pressing and construction details before shipment.
Q: Can you replicate an existing suit or garment sample we send you?
A: Yes. You may send physical samples or high-resolution reference photos with measurements. Our pattern team will match the silhouette, proportions and construction details for MTM production. We do not offer true bespoke pattern drafting with multiple basted fittings.
Q: What private label branding options are included?
A: We support custom woven labels, printed care tags, hang tags, custom dust bags, wooden hangers and brand packaging. All branding can be printed with your brand name, no factory branding on finished goods.
